If it takes two or three appointments to get there without your ends snapping, we’ll tell you that too, and price it out before anything is mixed.
Balayage & highlights
Balayage ($200+) is painted freehand so the colour sits where the light would naturally hit. The root stays soft, which means no harsh grow-out line and three to four months between visits — the reason it’s the most-booked colour service here.
Full highlights ($200+) use foils from the root for maximum lift and brightness. Partial highlights ($150+) cover the top and sides only — enough to change how your hair reads from the front, at a lower price.
All-over colour & grey coverage
Full colour ($150+) covers grey and shifts your shade a level or two. Colour correction ($200+) is the appointment for fixing a box dye, a banded grow-out or a colour that went wrong somewhere else — it is quoted individually after a strand test. Root touch-up ($60+) keeps it looking deliberate between full appointments.
Toners
Calgary’s hard water turns blonde brassy faster than most people expect. A toner ($60+) resets the tone and puts shine back without re-lightening anything. Booked on its own, it’s the cheapest way to make a three-month-old colour look new.
Pair any colour service with Olaplex bond repair ($60+, or $20+ added into the colour) if you’re lightening — it is the single thing that most reduces damage.

What is the difference between balayage and highlights?
Highlights are painted onto sectioned hair and wrapped in foil, which lifts evenly from root to tip and gives a brighter, more uniform result. Balayage is hand-painted freehand with a soft, graduated root, so it grows out without a hard line and needs re-doing less often. Foils suit people who want brightness; balayage suits people who want low maintenance.
How often do I need a root touch-up?
Most clients come in every four to six weeks for a root touch-up ($60+) on a single-process colour. With balayage you can usually go three to four months. A toner ($60+) between appointments keeps blonde from going brassy.
I've used box dye or henna. Can you still colour my hair?
Tell us before you book. Box dye builds up unevenly and henna can react badly with bleach, so we do a strand test first and will be straight with you about what is achievable in one session. Sometimes the honest answer is a colour correction over two or three appointments — we'd rather say that than damage your hair.
Do you do grey coverage?
Yes. Full colour starts at $150 and covers grey properly at the root and through the lengths. A root touch-up between appointments is $60+. Men's head colour is $30 and beard colour $25.
